Possible Obsidian Glitch
found this when reading random pastes from pastebin.com
1. Player places obsidian block on square x. 2. Player removes obsidian w/ reg - Pastebin.com
It reads :
Code:
1. Player places obsidian block on square x.
2. Player removes obsidian w/ regular diamond pick.
3. Player then places redstone wire on square x.
4. When lava lands/falls onto the redstone wire (above square x), and with water beside square X, square X should now reveal an obsidian block (general - still funtioning obsidian generation).
5. However, due to the original block placed by the player on square X, The server believes that any block from "natural" generation is a player made block. Thus superbreaker will not break it when configured to not affect players block objects.
[14:36:15] elia coul: NOTE: The addition of other blocks and there removal to square X do not seem to affect the location, or reset the area, in reguards of superbreaker having the capability to remove said block.
[14:36:57] elia coul: Also, leaving the chunk, or logging out for two~ hours does not seem to reset the area, even when there are zero objects on square X
Can someone verify this
Thank you
there is a video on this. Yes it works but u need new redstone every time you do it. Here is a video I used to make it:

Old stuff, used to make a obsidian generator.
Yes, it's true. Refer to what Enjoi said to see how to make it, obsidian generators have been around for a while bud.
