cd key already registered

hey guys i know this is an old game but iv just purchased another copy of this game and cd key is already registered to an account. is there a way around this? even to play single player? and yes iv tried the cd keys in the other post

ps im not expecting free keys but some info would be nice cheers guys

Contact Activision there was a leak of quite a few keys just send them a picture of your receipt with the date on it and tell them it won't activate.

Install the game. Jump into your Registry. Search 2142 and the erec folder, here is your CD key. Now you can change by right-clicking the desired key, and it work 100%.

Buy a new one.. Easy.
