How do you know when hacks become "detected"?

Let me expand on the title, how do you know a hack has become detected before starting it up?

If there isn't a way other than trying it, do you get any warnings from PB / Server, maybe a kick? Or is it an immediate ban?

i guess u gotta watch when people say they are getting banned and the thread is closed.

Before downloading a hack ALWAYS read the comments. I got banned on alternate account because that aimbot was old and detected a long ass time ago

Yeah no warnings just insta bann... happened to me but you can always play on punkbuster off servers to make detection less effective and even if you get banned from PB you can still play on PB off servers
