so i downloaded a server application from minecraft.net
how can i make my friends join it ?

Either you portforward you router port (25565) then give them your exteral ip
or you and your friends use hamachi and join the same network

Congratz!!! You're 6821672 user who used that!

DMZ is another way to portforward, but instead of forwarding just a single port, it opens all 65536 ports to the net.

you give your friends the port so they can join
