recoil doesnt effect where the bullet of the sniper rifle goes, its more for the auto fireing weapons, a sniper you only fire once, then if you have a bolt action sniper like the ssg or m24 you aim again, the only problem with recoil screwing up shots is an psg but, if you're a smart sniper you dont fire that fast, other wise you have a great chance of being spotted
