Emblems

An emblem is a graphical image that players can create to represent themselves in Blacklight: Retribution. The emblem will be displayed on a player's left shoulder in-game, and next to their name in the ranking list of a match as well as in the Social menu.


There are in general two types of emblems, customizable emblems that can be individually assembled and colored using a system of 3 layers, and premium emblems or reward emblems that cannot be customized and are either bought in the Marketplace or a a reward for a different achievement, for participation in the Closed Beta Phase.


Premium Emblems

There are currently two non-customizable emblems in the game:

Beta Tester (reward for participation in the closed beta phase)
Piggy (available in the Marketplace for 25 ZEN)



Customizable Emblems
Accessible through the Social menu, the player can set up their own customized emblem. An emblem consists of three layers, each of which can be colored individually and usually contains between 6 and 43 different symbols or shapes, allowing for well over 5000 different individual emblems.

This number can be further increased by additional letter sets purchasable in the Marketplace. Those letter sets (A - Z, 0 - 9) can be used as a symbol on the top layer of the emblem.
