REVIVE Here bringing you some more news from the hacking scene but this time its in relation to the PS3 Theme Creation Utilities and this one will make all custom themes better in the future.

The Theme creation utility is called Rich Appearance Maker and is currently in alpha stages, with an open beta likely to be released in the next coming weeks or months.

Sony gives to those who will purchase the PS3 SDK some tools allowing the creating of PS3 themes, nevertheless these last ones are not easy to use, it is for it that Armprime Industry has developed this software: a graphic interface simplifying largely the use of the kit of development of Sony.

Animation editor is the interface which will allow you to make dynamic backgrounds.
There is a Camera, two Lights, 3D Objects (DAE), Textures (DDS/JPG), Actors (Entities) and a Script.



To program your dynamic theme, you have to use the PSJS programming language, a fusion of JavaScript and PS3 libraries.
Right clicking allows you to compile your script and check if your script has any errors and to also check if the code is correct.


The software allows compilation of static theme, dynamic theme and coldboot.
