DDoS is multiple PCs (sometimes in the thousands) specifically there for the purpose of an attack. They send out all to one address (ie MPGH) and all that traffic comes here making the server unreachable. That's pretty much the basic attack. When you get in the big leagues they get like DOSnets and spend thousands of dollars on them, tons of PCs with trojans on them and it gets pretty bad from there.
