I just got off the phone with Full Sail University, One of my best friend goes there for game design and animation and recommended that i give it a shot. I signed up last night finally for an advisory and get some answers.. The lady asked to look at my portfolio on Deviant Art and she loved what she saw! i was amazed and she told me i shouldn't let my talent go to waste.
She then talked about my courses i will be taking, Ill be doing a bachelors degree. 32 classes, 1 class = month, so a total of 32 months. its roughly about 57k, I asked about financial aid and there are many options such as Fasfa stupid loans scholarships and all that good stuff. i know one of them covers 17k and another 14k,
They will be sending me a mac book pro roughly around $3,000 but it should be covered in the financial aid hopefully, it will have all the programs i need. also they are giving me Final Cut Pro with cs5 and everything i need, so pretty excited about that..
I told her i want to start asap so thats may 29th, so i have 20 days to get all this done, Pretty excited, because this is my passion in life, its basically the only thing i have in life, i have a real passion for it and love to do it, and this University fits me so much, and just can't wait to get started!
Just finally happy im doing something with my life finally, i graduated in 2010 from high school so a 2 year break of me absolutely doing nothing! Its time for that to change and actually do something with my life, set off my career, im so glad my best friends pushed me to do this, cuz its exactly what i needed.
