Player Tracking mod?

I'd really need a mod that allows you to track players even if they are really really far away, or at least I'd need help on how to code it (I tried a few things, but it didn't work properly for me).

You can only detect players over 250 blocks, a longer distance is impossible.

That's what I expected. Too bad.
