Feel like a dam noob but why is there no edit button on threads?, Trying to finish my tut and can't find the damn edit button

It sometimes isn't there, but it's supposed to be next to the quote button.
Yep i thought so i always used to use it :P. Anyway of retrieving said button?, i rly want to finish my C++ Tutorial
