Java has been on top for at least 8 years since 2002.
Not true. C got over java around mid 2010

I know? 2012 - 8 != 2002.
Java has been on top for 8 out of 10 years

Just nvm...
Java hasnt been on top for 8years, i dont have any idea of what math you are doing but jeez..
C was on top in 2004~2005, 2010, and now.
and 2012 - 8 is 2004. If you tell me that it is 6 years from 2004 to 2010, now i understand you. But that was relevant in 2010, not now.

I'm not sure if you understand what I mean. I'm not denying what you say. I didn't mean it was on top for 8 consecutive years, just that it has been on top for 8/10 years, with every once in a while C taking over.
It was on top from 2002-2004 (2), 2006-2010 (4), and from 2010-2012 (2), 2+4+2=8. You follow me now?
Now that makes more sense

I question where they get their data from for the rankings. Rankings dont even matter unless you personally are affected
now if only C++ was a little higher
glad to see C higher than java though
It hurts to see Objective-C up there.

Proprietary languages like Objective-C shouldn't count >
