Timed out waiting for initialing xtrap-engine?

i have been played this game for about a month and one day a pop up comes out saying Timed out waiting for initialing xtrap-engine. i have reinstalled it about 5 times, even in safe mode and disabled my av and put the xfire/xtrap in the excluded section and still doesnt work.....
can someone please try to help me? because i really want to play and dont want to be kicked out of the clan for not playing for a while. thanks

1. Check for virus.
2. Check for windows updates.
3. Try running it as admin.
4. Use CF cleaner.
5. If none of these work, contact Z8Games.

where can i get a cf cleaner? can u give me a link to it?

i get same error when injecting backdoors hack but that was when i had other programs open and it would take a while to load the game...... maybe try waiting for it to open?

Try disabling your Windows Firewall.

Go to Control Panel, and go to Windows Firewall. Turn it off.

Then try again.

i always had my firewall off considering that i play other online games. As of this point i dont know what to do anymore.....

That isn't an antivirus, sure it has malware removal software implemented when you do deep care or quick care, but it doesn't get rid of any incoming viruses...

hmmmm i ran gamebooster 3 and now crossfire works...... but there is a new problem, should i post a new thread for it?

Yeah, you don't want multiple problems in one thread. It gets confusing for users.
