what do you mean "fences"? You can't mod maps bud.

Um. There should be fencing there, that map's Sub base, correct?

Try reinstalling crossfire.

I guess that was a bug or he was playing with low textures.

yeah try to play with your settings, else its prob a missing picture somewhere in your crossfire folder
