The tank mode is genial :P
1. Right click the NFSW hack file, go properties
2. Click on the Compatibility tab
4. Select and apply the Run Compatibility for Windows XP SP3
5. Run NFSW hack with Administrator.

Actually, the really important thing to do is to first run NSFW and get into free roam. THEN you can open the trainer and it'll work fine. Hell, I'm on windows 8 with UAC and everything, and it works perfectly without any compatibility settings.

I opened the game then got into a FreeRoam
then started the hack and it worked perfect
works perfect for:
windows 8 x64
windows 7 x64
windows 8 x64
windows 7 x64
yes,it was wrong decision from them to close the thread as it was fully working and still full working like a charm for me
Yes it is working for me but where can you use this? like for multiplayer races what can I use? do i get rep and cash if i use it in SP mode?
I use it on XP and it runs fine. I don't have to do any Compatibility changes or Admin running (XP), but here's my steps:
Launch NFSW.
Wait until the screen that shows your main car ("Press Any Key to Continue") BUT DO NOT PROCEED!!!
Launch the trainer--which should successfully hook and possibly cause a bit of frame dropping (slight lag).
Select your driver.
Activate hacks when the Free Roam loads.
After that, you can just do whatever.
Good luck.

Did you:
start the game before launching?
add the file to your Anti-Virus exception list?
(desperate measure would be the disabling of your anti-virus/malware).
