Advice?
So as you guys(some of you) know, I want to join the army and then the special forces. Does any of you know how your vision has to be?(perfect eyes or not) I got mine down to -2(I think) by looking at the sun for hours when I was a kid. Think I'll have to undergo LASIK?


I looked it up on google already, but.they are all outdated.

You obviously need good eyes to join the Army, especially for Special Forces I think

That has nothing to do with it. Also, glasses or contact lenses are for correcting the misshaped lens. This is something genetic. I believe this has nothing to do with the sun idk what they told you.

Anyhow, in the Netherlands they told me its not the SPH/cylinder that have requirements. But something else with your view.. Idk what precicly. Go to a military medical office or something..

Its not genetic, although my uncle does have -14. But hes the only one and he has developped it by abusin' duh TV.

I heard your eyes had to be perfect, not sure though..

Oh and just to make sure: I'm going to join a warfare active one, so probably the marines.

Im not sure if they have to be perfect for the army. but im pretty sure you need 20/20 for special forces.

In that case I'll just complete the special forces preparation training and get the lasik surgery done once I decide to try the special forces. Im just really worried about the after effects, you know. They say it starts to get even worse after 6-7 months.
