Well I posted back in February on how I needed more money to get an Easter Egg, and well the prices have dropped so much recently that I was able to buy one at 52.5m, which was 4m under the median price at the time.

Really, the discussion and information that I'm asking for is weather or not rares will go back up in price. And when I mean go back up, I mean very long term, as in over a year....

I realize that this is hard to guess, but what's the biggest factors that play a role on rares? (I know bots, supply and demand and so on....)

Well eventually they should start to rise again
Every day rares are being lost due to players being killed by a NPC or w/e, the lesser there are the higher the price basically.

Yes they will at the moment all rares are dropping in price it will take a few month for a good rise and Christmas is your prime

That's pretty much what I wanted to hear. Quite honestly I don't think I will ever sell the item because last time I sold a rare, green hween for 9.9m, it went into the hundreds of millions when I came back, lol.

Rares always drop and get more expensive than ever, this is because most of the people want Rares because they are rare, they don't give a fuck if it has any use

So you can be sure that the easter egg's price will rise again

Well, blue partyhat was like 3-5 months stable on max ge price and the biggest part of the rares we're rising, so I guess they will again.

What's the odds that because of the updates to the combat section people will quit and buy rares? lol

Or vise-versa... they will sell rares to buy combat equipment?

So, I checked the price of an Easter Egg and it has gone up 22% in the last 30 days, which seems like I bought in at just the right time.

You can't tell really, mainly because it may be a merching clan boosting Easter Eggs right now
Anyway, you should keep track of the item graphs:

if the value is increasing by 5% one day, 3.2% the next day (and (just) 1.8% the day after) you can expect the item to fall again very soon.

Thanks.... I checked the forum also and several people said eggs are at 68.55m which is 7m+ the median right now....

It will be interesting to see what happens next. Can anyone explain why every rare has jumped in prices?

Now with a major seller on ***** for RSGP said that the amount of gold's worth is steadly declining which will bring the RSGP value for rares up, but the USD down even more.

I'm trying to say that when Gold Rates decline, in-game prices rise, which lowers the value of the item if that makes sense.

Yeah, I understand you. Basically the RSPG is becoming inflated like the United States Dollar. Everything will cost a % more because everyone has more money to spend.

More people have more RSPG so they can buy more rares.
