60c is ok. You could add a fan if you want, but 60c is a pretty normal temp.
i idle get about 25-27. Wheen playing something about 50 - 65
I idle at 40 degrees.. Should get more fans in my computer (:
I idle at around 25-30 so that seems fine.
is fine i have the same temp
When playing MW3 my cpu gets at 90 celcious and after 2 hours of playing, it might hit 105 and shut down. I need to clean my fans soon. SOON.
I haven't really checked about the gpu, but I posted this
Idle my GTX 460 (400s run hot) is like 34.
So I'm sure you're fine.

This is a prime example on how to ruin your CPU.
90 C? Get a better heatsink or some better airflow.
Cleaning your fans wouldn't take 90 down too far, maybe to like 80 if you're lucky. And those fans would have to be shit clogged.
And 80 C is still bad.
I mean your CPU can probably handle the temps its at, and in the moment you're probably fine.. but..
In the long run you're killing the lifespan of your CPU.

I am trying not to run heavy games to prevent that. I am planning to take the laptop to service. Does the warranty cover that?

Oh.. maybe I didn't read all the posts but it's a laptop? Kind of laptop, model?
Honestly I don't think warranty does.. you have to know your limits with laptops. I would just lie to to whoever you're calling about the warranty, say it's getting too hot on simple things. But even then they might just send you a new one.. when it comes to laptops you're usually shit out of luck.
