Knife
Ah, the great o' melee weapon that everyone starts with. Usually pros use it, and it's a pro weapon if you have low ping (I mean really low, like below 60) and always try to aim for the head. Then the knife is the best weapon for you. Because it does 90 damage to the chest at right click attack, it becomes an annoying weapon when people use it on the head only
. So if you like hitting the head using right click attack, why not choose the knife?BC-AXE (ALL VERSIONS)
People say it's the best ZP melee weapon on Crossfire. Some think it is not. Well, I think it is. I love it, why? It's easier to find its hit timing (the time when it does damage) and it is a one hit kill to every part on the body at right click attack. But sometimes, if you're unlucky, it does 80 damage. It could be a pain if it does that... If you're a timing dealer, go for the axe.
Field Shovel
The melee weapon I hate the most (don't post negative comments about this, it's only my opinion, if you really want to post one, go create a thread and QQ there =.=). I despise it, why? It's basically the same as the axe, but it's harder to find its hit timing, and it's just lighter. I like weapons with average weight, but not too light (like the field shovel). But if you can handle the timing of the field shovel, like lightweight weapons and just love the field shovel, go for it! This is just my opinion! Don't take it too seriously!
Kris/Nightmare Blade
Get one of these by defeating the Nightmare Boss (in zombie mode) 5 times. Usually you get the Kris, but if you're lucky, you get the Nightmare Blade. It's basically the same damage profile as the axe though, good timing and others.. but it's same as the shovel, lightweight. I like the Kris or Nightmare Blade also.
Katana
You don't need to be a Samurai to buy the katana! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA (wow that was a lame joke
) Naw, I'm just kiddingWell, if you're not exactly a timing dealer, and you hate planning the attack timing, go for the Katana.. why? Because when you hold the right click button, it puts the sword back into the case. Now when this happens you automatically walk slow until you release the right click button. When you release it, you pull out the sword and just slice the enemy. Easy, right? Other than that it has better range. No timing needed.. sometimes needed.
Kukri
A standard melee weapon, basically a machete-like weapon. I like it because it has ALMOST the same range as the axe, shovel, Kris, Nightmare Blade... BUT 10% BETTER RANGE. That's close to the Katana though. And I like it because it has good hit timing. So am I supposed to love this more than axe? I don't know
