Paypal help

So...
I tried to buy MC today via VISA and it gave me some bullshit so i decided to go with paypal... [first time using it]

But i had no funds... so i added funds [i had about just the right amount for MC in the bank - not because im poor no ~ its for flexible purposes]

Then i found out that i can pay directly

So like now i have to wait a week for my funds to come through, and i can't pay directly...

So like how would i pay with my funds?
It gives me an option for 'Instant Bank Transfer' and Pay by visa/credit card [direct as mentioned before]

I think its instant bank transfer but it sounds like the money comes from the bank? but that's not how paypal works right? otherwise it defeats its own purpose of using your 'funds'...

Not exactly sure, but wouldn't you take money from your bank, and put it INTO your Paypal - once it's in your Paypal you can use it for whatever you want. That's why you have to now LINK your credit card to your Paypal account so you can send, and receive money - along with buying stuff.

If your Paypal account already has balance, that balance should be used instead of any credit cards / bank accounts. If you're still waiting for the funds to arrive on Paypal, that might be the cause for you being unable to pay using them?

I'm not quite sure what you're expecting to see right now, if your funds aren't there yet.

well, its in the process but im asking what do i press? credit card or instant bank transfer?

*look at picture - on the instant bank transfer, it says my bank sort code, and on the credit card and back up it says my credit card number - but i don't see an option to pay via funds? or do i need to wait for the funds to come since im asking this in advanced...

hmm.. your post seemed confusing yesterday - makes more sense now... right, i guess i'll have to wait a week :/

Yes. I don't think you can pay automatically out of your bank, unless you're using your credit / debit card. Correct me if I'm wrong - but if you want to pay using the funds on Paypal, there has to be funds IN your Paypal account. So, try googling around and find out how to transfer money from your bank -> Paypal. Then, life will be much easier and you'll be able to do whatever you want ^-^.

Well, soon enough you'll have it. If it takes too long, contact Paypal and they'll be happy to help. Calling them would get you the fastest, and best assistance.
