Meh.
Took a little bit of time to try out CS6, CnC?

Katyyyyyyy
Nice tag, but it seems a bit unfinished to me. but not bad!
It's not bad, it's actually pretty good. But I'm with him ^. It looks unfinished and empty. Good work though.
Perhaps smudging a bit of the render would help blend it a bit?
Hmm...how would you suggest i "finish" it?

Add some effects, c4ds, smudge the render like Jacket said, etc.

It's getting better, but the left side is completely empty, aside from the smudging. Try adding other things.

Alrighty, i'll work more on it tmr
I would personally say work with a bigger canvas so you don't have to cram your effects or squint your eyes to see :P and it will make it better quality.
you could put some c4d bubble effects maybe or some splatter brushes or brushes that go with the focal in general.
just keep experimenting. also work with your G-maps and layers

Well, the render was that size, and if i made it any bigger it lost quality, so i figured i'd stay with 325x125 haha and yeah, i'm gunna get back to work on smudging and stuff and read up some tuts
Make it bigger and add some more shit to it... a quote or something idk.
very simple

I actually did the same thing in CS5 with the same render
Yeah adding some more to the left side to complete it such as some different tone smudging to make it more attention cathing would do fine i suggest moving the render slightly more into the frame because right now it's a little off to the side making it have more empty space
When you smudge you want the render to be a part of the smudge you dont want the smudge to be a part of the render.

You smudge from the render outwards to the background but making it look like the flow is actually pulling towards the render. So you dont have to overlap half of the render. Start from his shoulders.
