Combat Arms getdevicecapsfailed

Hello so on my other computer when I start up combat arms I get this error

getdevicecapsfailed

I did some research and they said update your graphics card and directx. Already updated my directx but for some reason I can't update my graphics card driver.

Graphics Card:
GeForce 8400M GT
Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit
Computer Model Number:
Sony PCG-281L

When I go to start>manage>>computer management>device manager>display drivers
then it says
Standard VGA Graphics Adapter

Please someone help me out!

Make sure you put it in the computer correctly and that you have put the installation CD in and set it all up. If so, go to google and try to search for the latest drivers for that card. (Search "GeForce 8400M GT latest driver update"
