[1.2.5] ChatLogger
ChatLogger

Saves all multiplayer chat/text in .txt files located in the /mods/ChatLogger folder. Files are separated into separate server-IP folders, and into different login sessions by time.
Very helpful in ban reports or appeals

Installation

1) Install Risugami's Modloader

2) Once you've copied the .class files from the .zip file into minecraft.jar, copy the ChatLogger folder/directory into the /mods folder in your Minecraft appdata directory. Be sure that the config.txt and log.txt files are located within this copied folder. This is also where your saved chat logs will be found.

now that's pretty awesome
Wow, this could be really useful in the world of Minecraft.
Thanks a lot.

EDIT: This is NOT compatible with ModLoader.
Sorry if I sound like a noob but, I installed the ModLoader and then followed what you said with the files for this mod, and it doesn't seem to log my stuff.

Any idea what I might have done wrong?

Actually, I just tested it. It works fine for me...
It makes the logs in the /mods/Chatlogger folder under the name of the server ip :L

REMEMBER: INstall the mod AFTER modloader... It needs to overwrite the adl file

Hmm...that's lame that he told us to do it in the OP then. :S

I'll try it without the Modloader and write back here.

Edit: Now without the ModLoader I get a message every time I try to connect to a multiplayer server (even my own).

java.lang.SecurityException: SHA1 digest error for adl.class
I really don't think a simple mod like this requires mod loader. I don't even think it's really a mod. Maybe it needs multiplayer ModLoader
GUYS! LISTEN! IT NEEDS MODLOADER!
I have it wokring on my PC just fine...

You can tell it needs modloader as one of the classes has a mod_ prefix
