Crysis 2 HELP

I just got Crysis 2 Limited Edition and I'm having troubles activating the game. In the activation manager, I enter the code and it says this: Connection failed. Please check your internet connection. Can somebody PLEASE tell me how to fix. I really hope I did not just waste 30$.

No, I went to Micro Center and bought it there.
