I have a slow computer, and I would like to make montages. Do any of you know the best recording program I can use that will barely change my fps. I tried Growler but the video quality was pretty bad having the settings set to 15 fps.
Fraps droped my fps by 30-40 and that section I looked at and under the section title it says "Having problems with Crossfire hacks? GET HELP HERE!." Yet this isn't about hacking so that confused me, sorry.

If you have any proplems with CF ,
And all recording programmes drops the rate of FPS
Look at playclaw. That has the smallest impact on your fps as it uses minimal core power and isn't a memory hog like FRAPS.

Thanks, but I found one that didn't change it at all but it had horrible video quality.

I'll try that out, I hope it doesn't have bad video quality.
If your average FPS with a game recorder is 70 or lower, then don't think about making montages. Mostly every video recorder will disrupt your FPS to about 10-20.
Fraps or Camtasia may help you as well, but if you really want good footages but got low fps while recording then upgrading your computer must be the unique solution for such problem.
