Guys please help me I have a problem in Crossfire

guys this message show to when I start Crossfire.....I deleted it and downloaded the game from Z8games and the same problem ...please help me

when I start the game this message show to me { failed to download version.ini }

Go to cf folder ,
there is file named Version , open it with notepad change the number 1091 > 1092 , or if its is 1092 > 1093 Then save and make it readonly

when I opened it I found this letter "G" I made it 1092 but the same problem

you found the letter "G"?
If you did, why the hell would you change it to numerics...
Alphabet and numerics are completely different things..
You need to rechange it to G.

Have you checked for windows updates?

Try seeing Windows firewall and any other firewall this error usually happenes when patcher cant get to the internet

ok i`m fixed the problem { failed to download version.ini } ..
I asked my friend to open folder of crossfire then he will find file it`s name "version.ini" I told him to open it by "notepad' and he will find cods I told him copy this cods and give me it I toke this cods and past it in "version.ini" and make the file Read Only ..then start the game from patcher and this message dose not show to me put after HGWX downloaded this message show to me (may be the pic in 'download and thanks"

okay so basically you fixed your version.ini error and now your encountering an x-trap error?
Btw this is NOT CF NA..

Hmm this happened right after patch right ?

I also alaways get error called "Failed to Download pAtch File " and "Failed to downlaod Version.i" i guess i wrote correect It works for me when i keep trying to open patcher_Cf for like 5-10 times.

This is you hosts file error you need to tell me you windows bit to get you the right hosts file @medoxs.

Try the following:

- Delete Log folder (in cf folder)
- Delete HGWC folder (in cf folder)
- Delete Report folder (if there is) (in cf folder)
- MAke sure no hacks are on
- Run patcher_cf.exe as an admin (in cf folder)
- Use http://www.mpgh.net/forum/290-crossf...es-extras.html
- Try using gamebooster 3
- Do not run any programs in the background
- All not working? -> Delete z8games folder -> re-install CF

GameBooseter shows it's effect only when you reach in game.. helps to get better FPS.. notthing to do witht his

Clean your CF Folder First --> deletes all your Xtrap Error files and HGWC
Use CCleader - Cleans your whole PC.

because that version of x-trap is REALLY, REALLY old. Crossfire PH and EU has that x-trap, not NA.
