Otherwise I wanted to see how the M14 would look without any designs but some colors that are altered to have the gun with a complete different look.

but its dtk not rez, is there tut on that too? and do i need to have the gun in the game to use it?

You have to inject the dtx file. There are a few tutorials which are self explanatory
