I was curious if someone could help me. I'm running ARMA2free which is on steam and ARMA2 Operation Arrowhead which is a retailed version
so ive followed a crapload of tuts and i always end up getting a error : deleted.cacharacters.

Is operation arrowhead the steam version or hardcopy version?
Never try mix and matching when trying to get ArmA:CO and DayZ working, just get the normal free copy. Old, but still kinda relevant (and note that you should get the beta for ArmA:OA):
