I just got my xbox.. yesterday and now its squeaking ( right analog stick ) ( when i turn it to the right side and back and forth ) anyway to fix without taking it apart? Looked on internet.. not to much help..
WD-40 all up in it
@Killian I got a q-tip and wd40d the analog bothering me. do u think after playing it and the qd40 makes its way around it'll be be fine?
If it doesn't stop in a few more days try to call Microsoft about it and see if you can get it replaced. @Waxsaid that's what he had to do for his PS3 so a similar thing might be going on here. (A.k.a it might just be defective.)
Xbox controllers apparently just squeak, my friends say theirs do, but my 6 year old controller still don't squeak

I was totally trolling. You definitely don't want to put any liquids on electronics, as they tend to not work well under those conditions.
You might have just fucked up your controller terribly, or discovered a new method of anti-squeak for Xbox controllers.
