It honestly shouldn't matter in the slightest. This is the internet, even worse, this is a forum. What people think of you shouldn't matter in the slightest. Especially when (before the feature to de-rep was taken away) people could de-rep you for no real reason. Just do what you got to do, if people don't like it they can take their butthurt asses and gtfo. ^_^

But if you do happen to care what people think of you and want them to think better of you, making a thread like this isn't exactly going to HELP your chances.
