Guide 3: How to Drift for Beginners ( No Hacks Required)
We've all seen some drifting movies, or atleast Fast and the Furious/Tokyo Drift....
And we all wanna do that shit!!!
Well I actually know how to legitly drift in NFSW...No joke
Now I dont want any hate, just some love <3 try what I say before you judge it...
Requirements:
Car...
Nitro if u want
Tank mode ( for practice)
Heres how to Drift
Approach the turn while being parallel to it. Meaning Drive like this

Car ---> [[]}
ParallelTurn--> ----------
Now to drift...As u are parallel with the turn, Hold E-Brake and direction of turn. As soon as your car is sideways, release and accelerate. Make sure u accelerate AFTER e-brake not during...Because Accelerate E-Brake and turning will mess u up..
After car is sideways and u accelerate, do some additional turning to get ur car back on the center of the road.
Tips and Tricks:
Acceleration is key, use [PageUP] for that acceleration hack
Also if you approach the turn at a high speed, use e-brake a further distance before turn.
225MPH + = Around 2-3 seconds before the turn
180-225MPH = Around 1-2 seconds before the turn
<180 *** = At the turn, or 1 second or less, before the turn
Use a "sandlot" to practice, so either golf course or stadiums.
mess around a bit. And with treasure hunter hack, u can get acceleration/topspeed parts and ull have more money so try drifting with other cars.
Most muscle cars fail at handling so they are more useful for drifting.
However I find better handling is easier, because better handling make your turns better, and helps decrease speed with e-brake

Just try it on golf/stadium and then on the street.

Get over it, you cant drift without hacks, you can do powerslides with your handbrake, but true drifting is only achievable with 0.2-0.3 handling and depending on the car 1.0-1.8 accel hacking.

But yeah powerslides is one thing, those are easy, drifting is more difficult but is still manageable without hacks!

no disrespect to you but i think u cann't drift without hacks so u think no one can lol

Reminds me when i was doing team escape in underground, and in the start theres 3 cops before road block, I drove left to dodge the one on the right
and then before i smashed into the wall, I drifted away from it and in between the 2 other cops!

Im trying to make the BandiCam record in a better quality, but I dont wanna buy fraps! The best I can do i get a camera and hold it up to the screen and drift.
Not very hard to do though just takes a bit of practice...
I remember when I'd drift and at the apex of it i would spin out or mess up
or smash into walls of everything

K, show me your "pro drifting", if its more than just sliding around a corner while loosing ridiculous amounts of speed im impressed, but i know its not gonna happen because the crappy NFS World Physics engine only allows Powerslides,drifting kills your speed.
