Sleep Paralysis
Anyone ever had it? Got reminded of it by all the threads about dreaming and shit. It's fucking terrifying. Wake up, can't move arms, can't speak, can't even open your damn eyes. It's a horrible experience. Only happened to me twice in my lifetime, unless you count that time I realized I was dreaming but couldn't wake myself up and just started struggling (which made it so I couldn't even move in the dream), then three.
Had it a couple of times. Kinda nerve racking but I've heard of that kinda thing before so I just relaxed and it went away.
wat? i didnt even read xD
That only happens to me when I feel like "falling" and I suddenly wake up and it feels like my body is falling from a skyscraper and I can't move.

Same, I don't think I've had a "long" sleep paralysis, at most 3-5 seconds. Most of the time I have the falling effect I end up doing a kick and escaping limbo, I guess some nigga was trying to perform Inception on /me. Never had that sleep paralysis thing where you wake up with a face staring at you and you're scared out of your mind and frozen there.
i've only had it with my arm
ty for warning me tho
I had it once. I must have slept pretty hard, since when I woke up I was sideways across my bed and under my sheets.
I felt like I was struggling to breathe, but couldn't bring myself to move. The panic faded after a few.
Has happened to me a few times. The first time I panicked and ended up being stuck like that all night. Second time I remembered what happened and just imagined being all powerful, which let me pick my limbs up but it felt as though they were being weighed down like crazy. After that I just kept going back to sleep when it happened.
It's perfectly normal.

And perfectly fucking creepy, I mean shit I'm claustrophobic (not in elevators or whatnot just in situations where I can't move in general) so it takes a lot for me to calm down when stuck in that state of being

Your welcome.
Personally I never want to have one. I've seen too much weird shit and I don't know what could pop up in one of those.
never had this sensation and i do not plan on it. I did put my finger in a light bulb socket though and my dad had to rip the cord out. It didnt hurt and i didnt get burnt XD
i felt like i was falling on my bed a couple of times, like i couldn't move and it felt like i was sinking
