I would love to make my own hack, as I know and like coding, but my main issue is that ASM just makes me go nuts, I don't see any organization. I've made hacks for BF2 and BF2123 (or whatever year it was, 2124?2134?) but only following a guide for the ASM crap. There is just no "universal" or from nothing to a finished product guide for hack making (even if it's not actually working, just a proof of concept), it's just all little bits and piece, you practically have to already know how to do it to figure out which tutorial is useful/pertinent and put the pieces together.
Like, what can I do with the SDK, I assume I make a .dll that overrites functions like ProcessEvent with extra (hack) code. Ok, easy. Then we have punkbuster to deal with, AFAIK that's all mucking around in ASM trying to do something, not sure what.
Or maybe I've had bad luck when looking for information on hack making.
