👍 What do you use Vindictus hacks for?
Question in the title. How do you use (or in the current situation for many, "did") Vindictus hacks found here? Do you use them to speed run or level up quickly by yourself/grind AP? Do you use them mainly for botting heroics for monies? Or do you just use them as a way to solo dungeons that would be difficult/impossible to solo otherwise, mainly because you couldn't find a boat for the dungeon within 15 minutes? Or do you almost never/never have used them at all?
About a year ago, in the summer of '11, before/right after Glas was released, I was leveling up my Evie. I didn't discover Vindictus hacks until around level 35 or 36, and then I was very cautious about them. Pretty soon though I started getting bored waiting for boats/dungeons, and eventually, by around like lvl 50, I was going crazy with the hacks (doing regular dungeons for quests, but skipping all the maps and 1 hit killing the boss). Back then Nexon didn't really give a shit.
I came back a year later and started leveling up a Fiona. This time around I decided to ONLY use god mode, and even then as nothing more than a safety net/buffer/training wheels type deal. So basically yeah, until the 1hit kill/godmode was patched with Kai's release, I was pretty much the safety net guy. I would only use godmode when doing those few bosses that were just very difficult to solo your first couple of times, but I would try to learn how to solo it so that I could do it again without godmode.
Anyways, vote in the poll and well see how these hacks are/were used. If you see yourself fitting into more than one category, just vote for the one you did more.
