Oh damn, that passive aggressiveness.
daum son, weren't they just bitching about Windows 8 (Microsoft) closing off gaming opportunities?
Well it makes sense o_0

Don't accept the new terms of service? You get no service. Should be no surprise there.

I.e: The tactics Steam is using to get people to accept is not unfair, but rather it is a fact that you've known all along (licenses are purchased to use the game via steam and not independantly) that is unfair. So thus you have no right to complain about steam anymore than you did a year ago.

I agree with that mostly
the only issue I have is the permanent disabling (no redemption at all)
I can understand that the concept of course no agreement = no usage
but too permanently disable an account is a drastic over-reach for a company claiming to encourage fair gaming principles.
What they should do is disable the account (if you do not accept the agreement) but allow a timer (like a "how about you think about it" situation) and give them a time limit before the account becomes permanently unaccesable.
If these decisions become a theme for steam, we will probably also see a higher rate of pirating, and of course steam losing more ground into the gaming market.
