Please help me someone.

Ok I need help with 2 things.
The first thing I want to know is how to start Crossfire from patcher_cf. When I try, it says "Failed to load url of version of ini".
Second, how do you play Crossfire in a smaller mode so I can browse these forums while playing the game.

goto your crossfire folder and find patcher_cf and run it as a administrator. And for the smaller mode goto crossfire settings in game there is full screen and windows mode select window mode.

i know, but in some videos people start it from like their desktop or taskbar. thanks for helping though

Then take the patcher_cf.exe from your crossfire folder, then copy it, then paste it on your desktop.

And you can't go in-game and be in Windowed Mode... Only if you're in lobby or out of game you can.

i tried that but it still didn't work.

Actually my mistake. Do not copy and paste the patcher_cf.exe.

Create a shortcut of it. Then drag it to your desktop.

My Desktop Shortcut is working fine

Maybe it's your version.ini

Does it work if you start it from CF_G4box.exe ?

If it's the first time that you run it try use the launcher, also if you get error try to do more times

the first error comes when you are disconnected from internet

Test

1-Go to CF main folder
2-Try to find "Patcher_CF" -->Right click on it --> Send to --> Desktop (Create shortcut)

You can't play CF in Windowed Mode, Only in the lobby.

No reply within 3 days, I'll assume this is solved.
