Question about Cd Keys.

Okay, I was banned on steam version of the game, does this mean that my only option is to re-buy Arma 2 OA or can I buy a key code from PenguinHF or FunForums5 then run through DayZ Commander or Six Launcher (Which I do Anyways).

Im confused, I wanna buy a key but not sure if it will work with steam version of the game and a little bit of extra information, I bought Combined Ops.

If you are globally banned from Battleye, the only option is buying a new copy of ARMA 2 OA and changing the CD key.
