Do This It worked For Me Delete crossfire download the hole thing it will work if not Do A Factory reset to your Pc :/
SolvedX-Trap error on startup
I have tried that. I have also completely removed the z8games folder after uninstalling, and then restarting, and finally reinstalling. I have alot of data on my PC and I can not afford to reformat my hard drive. Also, everytime I reinstall I have to do the version.ini fix, as stated before, I'm not sure if that has to do with anything.
I don't even know why you have Norton. It's pretty crappy to be honest. If you want a good free anti-virus, you should get Microsoft Security Essentials.
Well, I've never had problems with it in the past, it just suddenly began to happen, sometime after the Sub Base update.
Disable your Firewall and AV
because xTrap can not make update

Try contacting support via Support Ticket. See what they may say.
Or try posting in the Z8 forum about your problem too.

I tried contacting Z8, currently no answer. However, I think I'll just back up my data and reformat and see if that fixes it.
Delete the whole entire crossfire folder and re-download it
I have reformatted my PC, and now CF works again, I'm still not sure why, though. Well, my problem's solved.
Alright then. Solved and closed.
