MW3 M4A1 nerf?

MW3 M4A1 nerf?
I was playing MW3 today and was using the M4 for a few games and realised this gun is extremely bad. I've gotten it gold 3 times and i never rememberd it have such bad dammage/accuracy. It seems even at point blank, 1-3 out of 8 bullets accually gets a hit marker. I dont know if This gun recieved a nerf that i dont know about but this gun is basicly unusable. it takes 15+ rounds to kill anybody, sometimes even a whole clip at long ranges. Can anyone tell me if this gun was changed in any updates?

The M4A1 needed a nerf, to be honest. It was supposed to be a starter weapon, however, the accuracy was extremely good and it was powerful as well.

For a lv. 4 weapon, don't you think that's too much? The MP7 is only really buff since it's unlocked at a high level, so it's kind of understandable.

I honestly don't know whether there was a nerf or not, however, if there was, then I am very thankful.

As for the M4A1 specifically I don't know if it was patched or not but if I may, here are the latest buffed weapons in MW3:

FAD - increased Damage and range
M16A4 - Increased Damage and Fire Rate
AK-47 - Reduced kick
UMP45 - increased damage
MP5 - increased fire rate
PM-9 - Reduced kick.


IMO the best guns out of that list would be the PM-9 and the M16, after their buff they're AMAZING.

PM9 is just a horrible weapon in general, IMO. Since the UMP45 has more damage added, I'd consider that a really powerful weapon now. Before, I used to throw on rapid fire on the UMP45 and rape with it, but it needed slightly more power.

The MP5 is amazingly good as well. VERY accurate.

That's your opinion, that fine :P You just gotta get used to the PM-9, just rarely ADS. Just throw Steady Aim and run around and hip fire. Went 23-0 in SnD with it ^-^

I just think that the PM9 is too weak.

The only sub machine guns I use are the P90, MP7, UMP45, and the MP5.

Only? Those are ALL the submachine guns except the PM-9 and PP90.

Well atleast you guys dont ACR/MP7. tbh the only guns i really use are the G36C and UMP45. only assault rifles i dont have gold are the AK and CM901.
