Please help, I tried doing the deleting the server.mojang.com but it still doesn't work!

What you need to do is find your hosts file, (%SystemRoot%\system32\drivers\etc\hosts) <- that's the directory it's at.
Then, delete all of the hosts in it. Basically, if you see text below all of the '#'s, that's what you need to delete. Once done, try restarting your computer and connecting to Minecraft.net once again.
