Thank you, 63OR63, for saying exactly what I was thinking.
Regarding the "No Recoil" -- I know I'm starting to sound like a bit of a broken record, but IT DOESN'T WORK. I'm not complaining, I'm just stating the fact of the matter. It's disingenuous of kila and zerocool to keep telling people it works when it doesn't do anything.
And before you reply with, "Just follow the directions, LOLL", No, you can't keep blaming this on user error.
Even if you:
-Start the game in window mode,
- Join a server
-Open the No-Recoil
-Click the 'activate' bubble
- hit '-' (for whatever reason)
- and then make sure it is turned ON! with f6
The program doesn't work. It moves the cross-hair in menus, and on the desktop, but when you are in-game, it has NO effect WHATSOEVER.
This is not a complicated program. All it does is move the mouse down. That's it. It's not interacting with CS:GO in any way, or injecting into the program. It just moves the cursor down. BUT: As everyone can see, it DOES NOT DO THAT in-game. Unbind mouse1 from attack, and then click. Does you cursor move down? No, it doesn't. That's because it doesn't work.
But Zerocool, tool that he is, actually has the audacity to boast that the no-recoil is so good "you can't even tell from spectator that it's being used". Of course you can't, because it doesn't work. He'd have you believe that he somehow programmed this EXTERNAL anti-recoil in such a way that it is invisible to player and spectator alike. That for SOME REASON, clicking mouse1 will VISUALLY move your cursor down anytime EXCEPT when you're shooting. This is preposterous, and he is full of hot air.
To anyone who is still using this program, and thinks that it works, I have a few things to say:
1) Placebo effect. You're performing better because you believe you have a secret advantage, and that is giving you increased confidence and determination. It's like when Michael Jordan told the toons they had special sneakers (in Space Jam) that made them better basketball players. But it was, of course, "in them from the beginning".
2) "But I tested the recoil myself on a wall, and saw that it works. Not so well for the AK, but pretty good for the M4"
Right? This is what everyone keeps saying. Here's the thing: It "seems to work better" with the M4, because the M4's natural recoil pattern is more variable. The AK's recoil is very predictable: 1 impact at the point of aim, a second very close by, followed by a 3rd impact slightly higher, and then 4th, 5th, 6th, etc. at regular intervals until vertical recoil gives way to horizontal spread after 6-7 shots or so.
The M4, however, yields a second OR EVEN third impact near the 1st point of aim shot, followed by a third (or fourth) nearby, and then up in regular intervals. To put it simply, if you fire a 5 round burst with the M4, you will see one of two different recoil patterns, one of which is noticeably tighter than the other. If you increase your burst length to 10 shots, there will be no noticeable difference in recoil pattern at all, but you will still notice that some spray patterns have three shots clustered tight around the point of aim, while others have only two.
To put a long story short, people are exhibiting confirmation bias. They want the thing to work, so when they test it out on a wall they take the slightly tighter grouping as evidence that it works, while dismissing the times when the evidence wasn't clear, or the cases even reversed.
So, there you have it. This whole multihack is a piece of junk. The bunny-hop and cross-hair are useless. Rapid fire is a trifle. The only thing of value is the no-recoil program, and that, as has been clearly demonstrated, doesn't work.
As has already been said by other posters: Kila, if you want to make something that the community will appreciate, find a way to make coloured or wallhacked models/materials that will pass server consistency checks. Coders in the CS:S community waged the cold-war of materials exploits with valve for years, requiring numerous updates to the game in a back-and-forth. Keep that ball rolling. Valve found a way to kill the last exploits, but they had to bug the game to do it, and now people are complaining. There's bound to be another way to exploit materials/models, and that's what you should be looking for.
OR, you can find out how CS:GO is blocking external anti-recoils in-game, and see if there isn't some way around it that doesn't involve hooking the engine. Either of those two things would be helpful right now. Everything else is bosh.
