Why am i introducing myself in this part of the forum?
Because i love programming all kinds of stuff, i'm very experienced with Visual Basic.
I was one of the first people that managed to make a D3D hack using VB.
But now i would like to take it a step further, moving on to C# and C+, tomorrow my new education will start(Application Development)
Ofcourse i will learn C# and stuff at the education but do you guys have any tips

My name is Jetse, I live in the Netherlands and I'm 16 years old.

Starts off with some seriously questionable statements.

Protip: Unless you've spent all your VB career writing class libraries, you've done application development before.

And how exactly did you write a D3D hack in VB? Did you bootstrap with a CLR loader? How'd you write your hooks? =.=
I've written this in VB, but not the way you think. It was more just a program with a D3D look, with could hide and show with the insert key. So it wasnt a real DLL, it was a Exe program, wich "hooked" into warrock when it launches, then it shows itself having a D3D look, and accesible with the arrow keys. This wasn't a REAL d3d hack indeed but we made it before there actually was a working D3D hack made. (We decided to make this when we saw the preview of the first D3D hack)

So, in essence, you lied in your first post? Overlaying a window like that has nothing to do with D3D. It was also an application (you said this), apparently you've not done them before? :3
It actually was the D3D of that time, due it was not possible to overlay games yet, it kinda hooked into it then showed a transparent window with text(hacks) on it.
So it wasn't complete D3D maybe but not a lie either

Pretty over the debate now, but just because it hadn't been done before (doubtful), doesn't make it "D3D". Direct3D is part of DirectX and by the sound of it you didn't touch it at all. While it's possible to write a D3D menu in C#/VB.NET (I've done it, so has master131), it's not really worth it. Writing a proper D3D hook in .NET takes a lot more effort than any overlaying craps you can do with GDI+.
