Help editing test client hex code for update

I have been using nellys guide to making your own client for afew days now and ended up making an awesome one yesterday, so i edited it so i could run it on testing aswell, and now they have updated it.
Ive been searching on the forums but to no avail on how to update the client with hex editing to keep using it
i know i saw it somewhere on the forums but i just cant find it again

Ya, you pretty much need to find all the new names for the functions (if you want a current client with hacks). The other way if they didn't change the network code is to simply search for the string 123.5.0 and rename that to the current version (never tried this before but this is how I believe people were *updating* cubeone in the past). Any new content will lag you out though just like cubeone did with new content.

meh, was way easier than i thought, i just used yogda to find 123.5 and BAM edited the 0 at the end of it to a 1 and it ran just fine, no need for hex editing

run the swf, and at the title screen take note of the version (v"123.5.0")
open the desired swf into a hex editor
search for the current version
change it
save

Who cares about testing.
