Did you try to use any Rez mods while trying to play CA?

Just re-install the game

It's most likely non-texture rez mods that haven't been bypassed.

Either remove your mods and replace them with originals (If you have them)

Or just simply re-install the game

That's what happens when you uninstall anyway.

The only thing that might change is to clear it from your registry.
