Rendering

I do GFX stuff on the side as a hobby a lot, I just don't post a lot of my work here because of what a novice level I'm at. But I've been working on a big project lately for my friend, and a big part of that has been some rendering I've had to do. (Some of these are for myself too.) Just wanted some opinions on how I did.

They look pretty good. I recommend looking into the engine used for World of Warcraft, you could redesign it to your liking im sure.

If you mean like, getting different poses other than what's on the armory than yeah. I've been doing that for years with WoW model viewer. The only problem is that it hasn't been updated in a while and 2 new patches (one major) have come out recently. :S

you should render some actual graphic art and the not in game characters. I hate the way they look pixelated. other than that you did a pretty good job.

No, I did the pathing and rendered it, then used my smallest brush with the eraser to clean up the edges. Do you have any suggestions to improve on that? :S (I do use GIMP.)

Don't use gimp

Use Photoshop if you want a better result

Many people that do high end GFX use GIMP, that's not an actual reason. (I personally hate PS.)

I felt the same. If you take time into PS, you'll start getting used to it and liking it

I could render some stuff for you if you want, but I'm not that interested in a big project. I'm pretty busy lately with school, and that's just going to get worse as we progress into the year.

GFX stuff is mainly something I like to do on the side, casually, just for fun.

PS sounds more professional and shit, but I'd actually rather prefer Gimp since I started off with that and it's much more easier to use. Then again, I haven't used PS in like a month so I'm not the one to judge.

Looks like some nice work. You should work on different topics like Parody stated, these renders are too pixelated.

Photoshop has more possibilities than GIMP. And let's face it, it's sexier too.
