This tutorial will outline and notify anyone who is unsure or new to hacking and wishes to. It will be written in basic terms and easy to understand. The following things will be covered throughout the tutorial.

Basic Terms & Knowledge
There are a few terms and basic knowledge that is used often by coders and members that tend to hack in this section. These terms are used just to simplify thoughts and ideas. They are also used to get simple ideas out clearly.
- Detected Hack - The hack file is detected by the game and its hack prevention modules. Can possibly be solved by simply "Ciphering" the file.
- Patched Hack - The game has undergone an update and the code inside the hack file is now "Patched. " This means the code in the hack does not match with the game anymore; the hack needs to be updated.
- OS - This is a common term which stands for "Operating System"
- VS - This is a common term which stands for "Virus Scan"
- D3D Menu - This is a term which means the hack is of a type which includes a DirectX Based Menu used to navigate through hack options.
- Hotkey Hack - This means the hack features are toggled with specific keys designated on your keyboard.
Injectors
Injectors are a tool used to attach the hack file onto the game. These tools serve a purpose to "inject" hacks into the game to activate its usage.
- Download any injector. I recommend using PerX Injector.
- Be sure to run them as administrator.
Hacks
Hack files are saved and created in DLL (.dll) format. It stands for "Dynamic Link Library" Hacks can be created in almost any language. They are generally created using the C++ language.
- Search and Download hacks from the main Arctic Combat Hacks Section.
- Scroll down to view the latest threads. Hack threads will usually be marked with the [Release] Prefix.
- Threads marked [Detected] or [Patched] are hacks that do not work any more.
- Scroll to the bottom of the thread until you see a download option.
- Download WinRAR to extract the DLL (.dll) files to your computer.
Injecting Hacks
- For PerX
- Download and extract your hack file using WinRAR to any location on your computer.
- Open PerX and run it as adminstrator (Windows Vista/Windows 7)
- Browse for your selected hack.
- Set the process in the text box to "ArcticCombat.exe" without the ""
- Be sure to select automatic injection and close on injection.
- Start the game normally from the website.
- Press okay on any message box and enjoy.
Troubleshooting & Errors
Sometimes your PC or Game may have corrupted files and the hacks may not work as a result. The most common errors that occur are the "msvcp100.dll" and "msvcp100d.dll" errors. These can easily be fixed by following the instructions in this tutorial - The PROPER way to fix msvcr100.dll, msvcr100d.dll or d3dx9_*.dll errors.
Additional Support & Tips
Often when hacking, users will experience more FPS lag than usual. To counter this, there are a variety of programs which may help: Game Booster (3.4 OR3.5BETA), Advanced System Care, Smart Defrag and CCleaner. All of these programs have varying functions, but they will all reduce lag as well as boost the speed and performance of your pc.
