Banned?

Hi I just were banned nad got this message:
Game disconnected: you were kicked by PunkBuster. Stated reason: PunkBuster permanent ban issued on this Game Server for player '***' ... Prior Kick/Ban

I can still join other servers, but will Punkbuster investigate my case now? Or is it just that server?

I believe you are ok if you are playing on other servers and if you were not using a hack there is no problem.

Ehm, I was using a hack on the server I'm banned. So now I have a problem?

Good chance they will investigate and permanently ban you from all PB servers.

Yes.

Pb takes screenshots and looks for abnormalities, this is why the pay hacks always come with built in countermeasures which return back clean screenshots to pb, free hacks don't usually have any countermeasures to speak of.

I had a paid hack, so I'm probably safe I think. And I really hope so!

Yeah, sorry to hear about your troubles as well. Hopefully it will get better.

Should be safe if it was a paid hack. Unless that guy scammed you and sold it to you for a public hack, or a leeched one.

%LOCALAPPDATA%\PunkBuster\
open bf3 folder and log file

Check your GUID, go to PBBans and search for it

PS: Prior Kick/Ban is Local Ban, not Global
Send PM message if you want and reply

that means i'm not going to get globally banned?

Okay, I looked in the PB log and saw the text I'm banned on that server. I also checked my GUID on Pbbans but it isn't banned. So I'm safe I think.

BF3 are cheap,

Banned?
