Dredd

So, I just saw the movie, Dredd (Judge Dredd remake).

My opinion; GREAT movie overall. I really liked the action, and especially the slow motion shots through the face Judge Dredd had shot. I have a feeling that they'll make a number 2 soon, or at least try. Any of you guys seen it? If so, what was your opinion on it?

I love the way they shot Dredd. But I feel that if you don'y know the whole Judge Dredd and MegCity back story, you'll only be seeing a tiny piece of the puzzle, and probably won't enjoy the movie to its fullest.

Judge Dredd is a 2000 AD character dating back to 1977. The first robocop aired in 1987. If anything, robocop is based off of Dredd.

I was going to see it. But end of watch was at the same time . So I watched that instead

i've seen the trailer and it looks good. dont think it comes out until October for australia

Will be seeing it because I think this new reboot will do it justice compared to Stallone.

I actually think Stallone was a great pick for Dredd, I just think the movie itself was horrible.

yes but his voice made it hard to watch the movie without loling

Yeah. I know the backstory to it, and I saw the old Judge Dredd with Stallone. Personally, I like the guy who played in this one a lot. Nonetheless, Stallone had the good character for Dredd since he was a huge actor then.

Though, it's a really good movie.

Saw it in 3d, didn't like it as much as the original.

Gonna try and watch it soon. Have to say it does look very intense and more truthful to the comics. I wonder how it will stand up against The Raid, as both have similar structuring.

The trailer looks cool, liked the original and soon I'll watch this.
