This shit is seriously not going to fly anymore. Becoming a minion is a huge commitment. You can't just drop the ball like that, especially after a short time. If you see potential issues that could interfere with minion, don't apply in the first place.

Too bad no one can force them to do the work. The moment the kids realize it's a title with responsibilities, they drop it.
