Helpvindictus in vm ware

vindictus in vm ware
so it runs but lags like no other for main and vm. it used to not lag but i think thats because now the game is bigger.

heres my specs









from these specs is there anything i can do to make it run smoother? yes im running lowest graphics on vindictus as well

this is about vindictus. only lags with vindictus. but if there is a better forum for it can it be moved there?

That's a hardware problem, @kabodle
Min specs on the game (in my opinion) just for the host are what your specs are. The last two patches significantly increased resource requirements for the game (+~20% for each Aug/Sept patches). I don't think you'll be able to run a VM smoothly with a dual core, especially with DDR2 RAM. They're just not fast enough. Keep in mind, your vid card usually doesn't divvy much, if at all any, resources to the VM. It's run almost always exclusively on your processor. There are settings in VMware to change that but I haven't noticed much of a change with/without GPU support. Bottom line: if you want multiple VMs I'd suggest an i5 or higher. Or a Phenom cpu if you just want 1 or 2 VMs. And definitely DDR3 12800+ RAM, just to run 1 VM now.

ok thanks. i just want one vm so me and a friend can play. his comp is way worse than what the vm ware is. his comp is almost just a toaster. to get ddr3 ram that means i have to upgrade my motherboard. what would you suggest is a good but cheap motherboard? i would also need an after market cooler for the cpu as my comp is in a tight space really only way to have atm.
